J.P. Tokoto is a new player of Ironi Nes-Ziona, the Israeli team announced.
The forward out of North Carolina started the year in ACB for San Pablo Burgos, with averages of 7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assist per game.

Uğur Türker steps down as İTÜ Basket general manager

Uğur Türker announced he has stepped down from his position as the GM of Sigortam.net İTÜ Basket.

“I express my gratitude to the Board of Directors, Sigortam.net, İTÜ family and all partners for their trust and support during my tenure,” Türker said.

Türker was one of the youngest GMs in European basketball. In his 4-year tenure, his team was promoted from the Turkish 2nd division to the BSL.

Semaj Christon is on Baskonia’s radar after Pierria Henry’s facial injury, a source told Sportando and Chema De Lucas.
Christon is playing in France with Limoges CSP averaging more than 17 points per game in EuroLeague and 16 in Jeep Elite.
The former Thunder guard was close to joining AEK Athens a few weeks ago before the Greek team opted to sign national legend Nikos Zisis.

Jamel McLean agreed to terms with Nagoya Diamond Dolphins

Jamel McLean has reached an agreement with Nagoya Diamond Dolphins of the Japanese B.League, a source told Sportando.
The American power forward has played with Banco di Sardegna Sassari the first half of the season averaging 6.9 points in Serie A and 6 points in Basketball Champions.
McLean will finish the season in Japan but he is expected to return to Europe next season. The player is close to finishing a deal to return to Europe for next year.

Amar’e Stoudemire to sign with Maccabi Tel Aviv

Amar’e Stoudemire is back in Israel.
The former NBA big man has agreed to terms with Maccabi Tel Aviv for the remainder of the season and will make debut in EuroLeague.
Stoudemire has briefly played in China with Fujian this season.
He has played twice in Israel, both times with Hapoel Jerusalem winning also one Winner League.
