According to journalist Ignacio Ojeda, ACB will propose to all clubs a 12-teams tournament played in one location with two groups of six teams each, with a best-of-5 final between the two top teams from each group. Season won’t have relegations to LEB Oro.
Proposal will be discussed tomorrow in a teleconference meeting. Tournament would start, if approved, on June 15.

19-year-old Estonian point guard Kerr Kriisa has committed to the University of Arizona, according to Eurohopes.
Kriisa has spent these past two seasons with Zalgiris Kaunas. He played mainly with their farm team but had the chance to make his debut in the EuroLeague in October against ASVEL. He also spent part of this season on loan with LKL team Prienai, averaging 4.1 points and 2.2 assists in 13.8 minutes.

Rookie center Luke Knapke has signed his first professional contract with Limburg United of the Belgian EuroMillions League, the team announced.
Knapke averaged 15.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in his senior season at Toledo.

Andrej Stimac has agreed to become the new head coach of the Geneva Lions in Switzerland, a source told Sportando. He will return to the Lions organization after playing for them from 2012 until 2015.
Stimac, a former EuroLeague player with Cibona, is also an assitant coach for the Swiss national team.
Adas Juskevicius and Mareks Mejeris have signed two-year contract extensions with VTB League club Parma Perm.
Adas Juskevicius, who had a great VTB season last year (14.5ppg, 5.1apg), officially stays in Parma Perm for two more years. Marek Mejers also signed to an extension till the summer 2022. Previously, Parma extended head coach Kazys Maksvytis for another year.

The Greek big man was signed to a two-year deal last summer but he has been limited by injuries.

Nikola Milutinov will sign a three-year deal with CSKA Moscow in the range of €3 million per season, a source told Sportando.
Barcelona was also pursuing Milutinov and put on the table around €7 million in three years.

Conflicting rumors from Turkey about Zeljko Obradovic’s future in Fenerbahce.
In recent days there had been talk of a possible farewell between the Serbian Head Coach and the Turkish powerhouse with Sarunas Jasikevicius as a possible replacement candidate.
In fact Jasikevius and Obradovic will be free agent this summer.
But, as reported by Aksam, Fenerbahce offered a 1.650 million euros contract during the season to Obradovic. A 50% reduction on the previous contract and on the club’s budget.
