Simone Fontecchio in advanced talks with ALBA Berlin

A few hours ago Himar Ojeda Pérez, Sport Director of ALBA Berlin, revealed on social media revealed that his team was about to sign a player from ‘southern europe’.

According to our sources the player is Simone Fontecchio, who should join ALBA Berlin on a multi-year contract.

Last year Fontecchio played for Reggio Emilia, with averages of 11 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in LBA, shooting 44% from beyond the arc.

Panathinaikos and Nemanja Nedovic are in the final phase of the negotiation for a one-year contract, Nova.rs reports.
The serbian guard spent the past 2 years with Olimpia Milan, with 9.5 points and 2 assist per game in 2019/20.

Brussels sign Ryan Richards, Thomas Massamba

The Phoenix Brussels announced the arrival of two new players, big man Ryan Richards and guard Thomas Massamba.

Richards spent last year between the BBL in England and the VTB League. He was the No.49 pick of the 2010 NBA Draft.

Massamba averaged over 8 points and 6 assist per game in the top swedish division for Jamtland Basket.

Zach LeDay is advancing quickly in discussions on a potential transfer from Zalgiris Kaunas to Olimpia Milano, italian sources told Sportando.

LeDay will exercise the opt-out clause on his contract with Zalgiris to sign a two-year deal with Milano.

Last year the power forward out of Virginia Tech averaged 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in Euroleague, shooting 50% from the field, 43% from long range and 84% from the foul line.

Alberto Abalde informed Valencia Basket that he will pay the €1.5 million buyout clause and leave the team, as reported by Encestando.
