Decision was taken by Baskonia after Henry’s side rejected a proposed restructuring of the 2 years, $2M left on the original deal.
Both sides have, since then, resumed talks on a new deal acceptable to both sides, with Henry’s side looking to remove all the max NBA buyouts and team options that were in the original contract. As of now, though, Henry is a free agent.
Rookie forward Simeon Carter has reached an agreement on a deal with Novi Pazar of the Serbian KLS, a source told Sportando.
Carter played college basketball at Iowa State and Georgia Southern. In his final year at Georgia Southern, he averaged 7.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
