BC Budivelnyk sign Brice Johnson, Reggie Johnson

BC Budivelnyk announced the arrival of two new US player, Brice Johnson and Reggie Johnson.
Last year the big man out of UNC played for Orlandina Basket (over 17 points and 11 rebounds per game) and Chorale Roanne (13+5 per game in Jeep Elite), while the guard out of Hampton averaged over 21 points and 3 assist per game in the Hungarian league.

Jonathon Simmons reportedly joining Liaoning Flying Leopards

Jonathon Simmons is signing with the Liaoning Flying Leopards, Anthony Slater reports.

Recently, Simmons was in the mini-camp organized by the Golden State Warriors.

According to the reporter, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said that Simmons still does have “NBA years” ahead of him.
Last year the swingman out of Houston played just 5 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors in G League, averaging 19.6 points, 5 rebounds and 1.4 steals.

Source: Jonathon Simmons, who participated (and impressed) in the Warriors’ recent bubble minicamp, is signing in China with the Liaoning Flying Leopards. Steve Kerr said he believes Simmons still does have “NBA years” ahead of him.

Basketball team won’t be affected by FC Barcelona salaries cut

While FC Barcelona has announced his employees, including Football team players, the intention to proceed with a salary cut, basketball players won’t be affected by such measure, reports José Ignacio Huguet of Mundo Deportivo.

This is because of the fact that basketball section was able to cut its costs for the 2020-2021 season by a percentage between 10 and 15% thanks to the contract extension of players like Nikola Mirotic, Pierre Oriola and Brandon Davies.

Former Euroleague Final Four MVP Tyrese Rice won’t continue with AEK Athens, as Eurohoops reports that Greek team won’t pick up the option on his contract for the rest of the season.

Rice had signed with AEK for the Basketball Champions League Final Eight, in which he averaged 15.7 points and 4.7 assists per game. He confirmed, after losing the final to San Pablo Burgos, that he will now consider whether to retire.
