Andrew Bogut officially retires from basketball

Andrew Bogut has officially retired from basketball.
The former 1st overall pick of the NBA draft has spent 14 seasons in the NBA winning one title with the Golden State Warriors.
Bogut will become one of the owners of the Sydney Kings, his last team in Australian NBL.

Axel Hervelle retires at 37

Axel Hervelle announced his retirement at 37.
The Belgian forward has played the past two seasons with Spirou Charleroi.
Hervelle has played 8 seasons with Bilbao before returning to his homeland.

Gabe York signed a contract until the end of the season with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
The guard out of Arizona spent last season with Strasbourg, where he averaged over 14 points per game between Jeep Elite and BCL.

Melbourne United ink Scotty Hopson

Melbourne United are excited to announce the signing of star forward Scotty Hopson on a one-year deal.

Hopson starred for the New Zealand Breakers last season, often taking charge of games and helping the Breakers to a number of wins almost single-handedly. Hopson was rewarded with a spot in the All-NBL Second Team plus an MVP nomination. He averaged 19.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, shooting 47% from the field.

The 201cm Kentucky native has most recently been playing in the NBA G-League for Oklahoma City Blue, with the hopes of breaking into the NBA, but will return to the NBL with Melbourne United.

Gran Canaria signs Oliver Stevic.

Stevic averaged 7.7 points and 5.5 rebounds this season with Urbas Fuenlabrada.

Sagaba Konate signs with PAOK

Former West Virginia big man Sagaba Konate signed a contract with PAOK Thessaloniki of the Greek A1 league for the remainder of the 2020-21 season, the team announced.

Konate started the season in Spain where he appeared in six Liga ACB games for Casademont Zaragoza.

Former Colgate forward Will Rayman has signed a contract with BG Göttingen in the German BBL, the team announced.

Rayman was off to a strong start to his rookie season in Estonia where he averaged over 23 points and 9 rebounds per game for Tartu Rock.

Dusty Hannahs signs with Kolossos Rhodes

Former Texas Tech and Arkansas guard Dusty Hannahs signed a contract with Kolossos Rhodes in Greece, the team announced. This will be his first experience in Europe as Hannahs has spent the first three seasons of his professional career in the NBA G League.

Hannahs is coming off a strong season with the Memphis Hustle in the G League where he averaged 21.4 points on 44.8 percent from deep. He was also called up to the NBA by the Grizzlies in February 2020.

Bahcesehir buy out Shannon Evans from Elan Bearnais

Turkish BSL and EuroCup team Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul has bought guard Shannon Evans out of his deal with Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez, the French team announced.

Evans was off to a strong start to the season in the French Jeep Elite as he was averaging 21.8 points and a league-leading 8.4 assists after five games.

Bahcesehir was on the market to find a new guard after Alex Perez was bought out by Fenerbahce.

Marco Belinelli signs a 3-year contract with Segafredo Virtus Bologna

Segafredo Virtus Bologna announced the rerturn of Marco Belinelli.

The veteran guard signed a contract until 30 June 2023.

Belinelli leaves the NBA after 13 years, with career averages of 9.7 points and 1.7 assists.

Last season he averaged 6.3 points per game for the San Antonio Spurs, the team with which he won the NBA title in the 2013/14 season.

Marco Belinelli reportedly returning to Virtus Bologna

According to gazzetta.it Marco Belinelli reached an agreement with Virtus Segafredo Bologna.

Belinelli was not satisfied with the offers received during the NBA Free Agency, and therefore decided to return to Italy.

The veteran guard started his career in the top italian divison with Virtus Bologna, debuting at just 16 years old.

Belinelli owns career-averages of 9.7 points and 1.7 assist in NBA.

He was the 18th pick of the 2007 NBA Draft.

The Belgian big man will replace the injured Itay Segev.

Last year Boukichou produced over 13 points and 5 rebounds per game for Spirou Charleroi.

Braian Angola signed with Ironi Ness Ziona until the end of the season.
The guard out of Florida State started the season with KK Partizan.
Last year Angola averaged 14 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.8 assist and 1.9 steals per game in BCL with Telenet BC Oostende.
