Former Tennessee State and Georgia guard Gerald Robinson has reached an agreement on a deal with VL Pesaro of the Italian Serie A, a source told Sportando. Robinson is being signed to replace starting guard Frantz Massenat who’s out for approximately three months with a fractured wrist.
Robinson has already played in Italy this season with Virtus Roma but he became a free agent after the team decided to withdraw from the league halfway through the season because of financial issues. He averaged 11.9 points and 3.4 assists per game for the Rome-based club.
Partizan big man Stefan Jankovic is drawing serious interest from Bursaspor, Sportando has learned.
Jankovic is still under contract with Partizan but is expected to part ways with the team if he finds a new opportunity elsewhere.
