Magro, who has already worked in Brescia as assistant coach of Andrea Diana, comes from an experience in Poland with MKS Dabrowa Gornicza.
Pallacanestro Varese made a contract extension offer to John Egbunu according to La Prealpina.
The chance that the Nigerian big man will remain in Varese are very low as Egbunu will try to capitalize the great season he had with the Italian team.
Egbunu started the season in South Korea before moving to Varese where he was one of the key player for avoiding relegation.
Egbunu ended his experience with Varese at 8.4ppg and 7.6rpg.
