Rodriguez, Lore expected to exercise their option to take over ownership of Wolves, Lynx

Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez are expected to exercise their option to take over ownership of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Lynx as early as Thursday. ESPN reports.

Lore and Rodriguez, who have an expiration date of 31 December, will formalise their intention to purchase the final 40 per cent from Glen Taylor to 80 per cent by early 2024.

The two have previously purchased two instalments of 20% with a valuation of $1.5 billion.
