Rockets’ Covington leaves game due to a facial injury after colliding with Anthony Davis

Robert Covington left the game with 4:50 remaining in Rockets’ loss to the Lakers in Game 3 after a scary collision with Anthony Davis.

Per ESPN, The players collided while scrambling for a rebound after Covington was knocked off balance by a push in the back from Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma. The back of Covington’s head appeared to hit the floor when he fell.

Asked if he anticipated that House would be available for Game 4, D’Antoni said, “I have no idea.”
