Rick Pitino to reportedly return to Greece on Friday on eve of Olympic Qualifying Tournament

Hall of Famer Rick Pitino is expected back in Greece on Friday to kick off the preparation towards the Olympic Qualifying Tournament as head coach of the Greek National Team, as reported by Eurohoops

In the upcoming days Greece will release the preliminary list of players for the tournament that will be played in Canada, with Vassilis Spanoulis expected to be part of that list. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s status is unclear, as Milwaukee is expected to make a run in the NBA Playoffs and that would prevent the two-time NBA MVP from participate in the OQT.
