He developed his basketball skills in the youth ranks of BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque, where he won two U21 titles (2014 and 2015), making his debut in LNB Pro A, the top French league, and in the FIBA Europe Cup.
In May 2018, he was named LNB Pro A Best Young Player. In the 2018/19 season, he played for KK Mega Basket, participating in the Serbian KLS league (11.8 points and 4.6 assists) and the Adriatic League (11.2 points).
In June 2019, he signed with the Chicago Bulls, where he played (in the NBA and G-League) until February 2021, when he moved to the Austin Spurs (G-League).
Before returning to the G-League with the Oklahoma City Blue, in November 2021, Mokoka returned to the French league, signing with Nanterre, where he recorded 11.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 25 games.
