Real Madrid C.F. has reached an agreement with Dennis Smith Jr., a 27-year-old American point guard, who joins the club for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2017 NBA Draft, Smith was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in his first season. During his second year with Dallas, he played alongside Real Madrid legend Luka Doncic. Over his career, Smith has also played for the New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Hornets, and Brooklyn Nets.
After seven seasons in the NBA, Dennis Smith Jr. now brings his talent and experience to Real Madrid.
