Games are set to resume in Spain following the Final4 break, which saw Barça and, more notably, Real Madrid, who claimed their 11th Euroleague title, as the key players. The final day in the Liga Endesa delivered the last verdicts with Valencia losing at home to a vacation-ready Breogan, securing the last playoff spot thanks to Murcia’s defeat at Palau Blaugrana. At the bottom of the league, Granada did its part and won at home against Joventut, while at Madrid’s WiZink Center, Williams-Goss confirmed Betis’s relegation in a hard-fought match.
Regarding other matches, the top seven positions were confirmed with league-leading Barça set to enjoy home advantage through to the potential final. Post-season pairings are set with Baskonia vs. Joventut opening the stage on Saturday, May 27th, followed by Real Madrid vs. Gran Canaria and Tenerife vs. Unicaja on Sunday, and Barça vs. Valencia wrapping up the round on Monday night.
Quarterfinals will be played as best-of-three matches while the following rounds -semifinals and final- will be played as best-of-five.
