Unicaja Malaga loses, with honour, the summit clash with Real Madrid, and at the end of the game coach Ibon Navarro is seen angrily leaving the court shouting ‘Puta madre’ twice.
At the centre of the controversy is a contact between Tyson Carter and Facundo Campazzo in the final, when the Malaga outside player has the ball of the tie in his hand. Instead it was Real’s recovery, with a counter-attack dunk by Gabriel Deck.
Obviously, there are many different points of view, with some noting that it was Campazzo’s tank top that was pulled, and others claiming that the foul started earlier against Carter.
In the press room Navarro underlines how that was a foul, as well as pointing out the count of infractions at the end of the match: 21 for Malaga, 12 for Real.
