Punter to Maccabi? There’s a denial from the player

The news from Serbia that Kevin Punter had reached an agreement with Maccabi Tel Aviv and would be leaving Partizan Belgrade was a big hit. However, a few hours later, the player denied it via his own X profile, posting an emoji of a blue cap, which in slang means “to externalize doubts about something”, in his case probably the news of his transfer to Maccabi.
