Puerto Rico, big deal: FIBA approves Markus Howard’s change of sports citizenship

Great news for Puerto Rico, less so for basketball Italy. In fact, FIBA has approved the change of citizenship of Markus Howard, who will be able to wear the Puerto Rican jersey from the next occasion during the windows dedicated to national teams. Thus, the Puerto Rican national team will have one of the best scorers in Europe and will challenge Italy and Bahrain during the Pre-Olympic Tournament to be held in San Juan from July 2 to 7.
