Pooh Jeter has decided to retire at 39.
The American guard with Ukrainian passport will join Blazers new G League team as assistant GM and player development coach.
Jeter has played 62 games in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings in 2010-2011 but his career has been mostly overseas in China, Ukraine, Spain, Israel and France.
Former NBA and G League Ignite guard @PoohJeter is officially retiring from playing, a source said. The former University of Portland star has agreed in principle to work for the Trail Blazers’ new G League team as an assistant GM and as a player development coach for Blazers.
