New Phoenix Suns governor Mat Ishbia addressed numerous topics in an in-depth interview with Boardroom. Much of the conversation centered around the Suns’ decision to broadcast their games on free over-the-air channels starting next season.
Ishbia was also asked about Phoenix being the only team without a G League affiliate. He stated that it is something he hopes to change soon.
“100% we will have a G-League team. We tried to get it done for the upcoming season, but it looks like the timing will be for the following season,” he said.
