Paul Zipser, a 29-year-old fan favorite of Bayern Basketball, is leaving BMW Park. The former German international will join his hometown team, Heidelberg.
Zipser will sign a 1+1 contract with the BBL team, which includes options to return to Bayern after each season. It’s more of a temporary farewell than a final goodbye for Zipser, more of a “see you soon” rather than a farewell.
