Partizan currently under sanctions by FIBA BAT, but bans should be lifted soon

Serbian powerhouse is still under sanctions because of bans concerning Andrea Trinchieri and Aleksej Nikolic

Partizan NIS Belgrade has been sanctioned by the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal and two bans are currently in place as of now. Team president Ostoja Mijailovic confirmed the bans in a recent interview with mozzartsport.com and revealed that those two are concerning former coach Andrea Trinchieri and current Burgos point guard Aleksej Nikolic.

Mijailovic however said that there is an agreement in place with both Trinchieri and Nikolic, and that the sanctions should be lifted soon. Team is currently prohibited from making further signings until the two bans are lifted.
