Wembanyama ends his Olympic debut with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks

Third basketball game today at Paris 2024, between host France and Brazil.

Brazil starts with more energy, but the hosts limit the gap thanks to an excellent Victor Wembanyama.

France goes ahead at the end of the second quarter and never looks back, despite many turnovers and a few too many mistakes on long-range shots.

Batum records 19 points with 5 rebounds, Ntilikina closes with 9 points, 3 assists and 2 steals.

Meindl was Brazil’s top scorer with 14 points, while 41-year-old Huertas paced the team with 11 points and 5 assists.
