Paris 2024, Group C | United States ok against Puerto Rico, quarterfinal will challenge Brazil

The United States had an easy time of it against Puerto Rico, winning 83-104 thanks to a 16-39 second quarter. It was a low-scoring game with soft defenses, and Coach Kerr’s team finished Group C undefeated. In the quarterfinals, Team USA will face Brazil.

The U.S.A. got 26 points from Anthony Edwards, 15 points from Joel Embiid, 10 points and 10 rebounds from Tatum, and 10 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds from LeBron James.

An excellent first quarter, won 29-25, was not enough for Puerto Rico, while on the individual side we find Alvarado’s 18 points and Ismael Romero’s 12 points with 10 rebounds.
