Panathinaikos claimed a decisive 96-84 win against Partizan Mozzart Bet in Athens during Round 20 of the EuroLeague. Despite missing key players like Kostas Sloukas and Lorenzo Brown, the Greens relied on a stellar performance from Kendrick Nunn, who scored 25 points to lead his team to victory.

Cedi Osman added 18 points, while Omer Yurtseven contributed 17. Juancho Hernangomez had 15 points, including crucial shots, and Jerian Grant delivered a career-best performance with 14 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists, finishing with an impressive 33 PIR.

The game was competitive through three quarters. Panathinaikos led 49-38 at halftime, fueled by Nunn’s 18 points, but Partizan cut the lead to just six points (62-56) late in the third period. However, a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Hernangomez extended Panathinaikos’ lead to 75-63 entering the final quarter.

Partizan, led by Sterling Brown’s 23 points and Brandon Davies’ 19, attempted a comeback but fell short. A decisive 11-1 run by the Greens, capped by another three-pointer from Hernangomez, sealed the game.

Panathinaikos now shares the second spot in the standings with a 13-7 record, while Partizan drops to 9-11, remaining just outside the play-in zone. Despite the loss, Partizan managed to narrow the margin late to avoid losing the tiebreak advantage from their earlier 18-point win in Belgrade.

With this win, Panathinaikos continues its strong push for playoff positioning, demonstrating resilience and depth even without key contributors.
