Cedi Osman (29, 2.04 metres) is a new Panathinaikos player, as announced by Dimitris Giannakopoulos via his Instagram profile.

The ‘Greens’ thus respond to Olympiacos’ fireworks with Evan Fournier by announcing the Turkish forward, who has made 476 NBA appearances with the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.

According to media close to Panathinaikos, the deal was a quick one, and the decisive factor was the conversation between Osman and Ergin Ataman, who is also his coach in the Turkish national team.

In Osman’s past there are five EuroLeague seasons, from 2012 to 2017, then seven in the NBA, with 72 games last season in San Antonio, averaging 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 17 minutes and 30 seconds of play per game.
