Panathinaikos defeated Bayern Munich 86-69 in the opening game of the ‘Neofytos Chandriotis’ tournament in Cyprus.
Omer Yurtseven made a dominant debut for the Greeks, scoring 22 points and capturing 7 rebounds. Kendrick Nunn added 11 points, while Cedi Osman, also making his debut, scored 3 points.
Bayern was led by Shabazz Napier, who finished with 17 points and 7 assists. The Greek team controlled the match from the start, reaching a 15-point lead at half-time.
