Panathinaikos coach Ataman on Lessort: “He’ll only play in the Final Four if he doesn’t take risks”

With the EuroLeague 2025 Final Four approaching, coach Ergin Ataman’s Panathinaikos team is facing questions about Mathias Lessort’s participation. Below are statements from the Greens’ coach, released directly from the Athens airport.

Ataman said: “If we feel there is a risk, he will not play. He did some light training in the last few days, and what we saw was positive. But that is not the most important thing. We have come this far without Lessort. We have good players, and they are all important. Our goal is the Final Four and the semifinals”.
