Everyone expected a great game in OAKA and no one was disappointed in the 25th round Euroleague big match between European champions Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce. At the end of a spectacular match, Panathinaikos took the 91-90 victory, with Fenerbahce missing a chance to win with a last shot, then handing the victory to the Greeks due to a last-second foul, which converted into a free throw made by Kendrick Nunn.
Nunn scored 17 points, but the MVP was Kostas Sloukas with 23 and 7/10 from the field. Juancho Hernangomez added 15 points and eight rebounds.
For Fenerbahce there were the 21 points of Nigel Hayes-Davis, who, however, missed a chance to win it with the final shot, then Errick McCollum, who added 18, while Devon Hall put up 14, plus seven rebounds and eight assists.
After this result, Fenerbahce has a season record of 16-8 and remains in second place in the standings, while Panathinaikos improved to 15 wins out of 25 games and stuck in sixth place momentarily.
