Pallacanestro Trieste announced that they have acquired the right to the sporting performances of player Jalen Hudson, a native shooting guard/small forward from Akron, Ohio, born in 1996, until the end of the current season.
Hudson, a 198cm tall and 88kg shooting guard/small forward, was trained in basketball at the Fighting Irish of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, and then continued his career first at Virginia Tech, then with the Florida Gators at the University of Florida. After a stint in the G-League and in the Israeli second division, he signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in 2021. The following season he wore the jersey of Larisa B.C. in the Greek Basket League. In 32 league games, he maintained an average of over 13 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, playing 28 minutes per game.
On September 4, 2022, he signed with Hapoel Galil Elyon, a newly promoted team in the Israeli Premier League, and also played in the FIBA Europe Cup, scoring over 19 points per game in the league and 17 in the continental competition.
Since January, Jalen has been playing for the TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA Governor’s Cup in the Philippines, where he averaged over 33 points per game, before embarking on the white-and-red adventure that will take him to Trieste in the coming days, once the necessary bureaucratic formalities have been completed.
