Pablo Laso, head coach of Baskonia, reflected on the victory against Partizan in front of more than 10,000 fans at the Buesa Arena: “I’m happy because the fans enjoyed a great basketball game. Partizan is a very tough opponent. We saw a game that didn’t seem like an October match. In the first half, we struggled to understand the game, but in the second half, we did better. We worked hard for the full forty minutes, and that’s great news. We’re really happy because the fans deserved a win today”.

Laso also praised his big men for their defensive contributions: “Our centers didn’t stand out in terms of points, but they dominated the defensive situations. Both Hall and Diop gave us stability, and I’m pleased with their performance. Moneke also did his part. Maybe he didn’t have a standout game, but we needed his energy. He was able to defend in tough situations and help inside. The energy he showed today was very important for the team, and that’s why he played 35 minutes.”
On Luwawu-Cabarrot: “He’s a great player, a fantastic signing. Baskonia did an amazing job to bring him here. Today, he defended very well, but then he grabs a rebound, makes a good pass, steals a ball, or dunks. He’s a very complete player.”
