Otto Porter Jr. announces his retirement from playing basketball: ‘For the past 11 years, I have had the opportunity to live the dream of my life: to play in the NBA. That dream was crowned by winning an NBA title! Unfortunately, my body does not allow me to play at the level I expect of myself and I have therefore decided to retire’.
The St. Louis forward, a Georgetown product, won a title in 2022 with the Golden State Warriors and has worn the jerseys of the Wizards, Bulls, Magic and Raptors.
He was cut in March by the Utah Jazz.
