Orlando Magic’s interest for Klay Thompson is for a short-term contract

According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Orlando Magic’s interest in Klay Thompson was perhaps overstated.

Although there is interest, the club is considering a short-term contract, similar to the one offered to Joe Ingles last summer (two years, $22 million, with a team option for the second season), but presumably with a higher salary. Thompson, on the other hand, is seeking a long-term deal.
