Olympiacos coach Bartzokas issued €6,000 fine for "lack of respect" towards officials

The episode happened on occasion of the game between Olympiacos and Barcelona.

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in a rescheduled Round 23 game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition bylaws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.

• Mr Giorgios Bartzokas, head coach of Olympiacos Piraeus has been sanctioned with a fine of 6,000€ for actions that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its home game against FC Barcelona under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
