Olimpia Milano’s Shavon Shields underwent surgery, will have to wear a brace for six weeks

Olimpia Milano reports that Shavon Shields underwent an athroscopic surgery today, performed by Dr. Loris Pegoli, at the La Madonnina Clinic in Milan, plus the stabilization of the scaphoid and reconstruction of the ligament of the right hand, following the intra-articular radius distal fracture and the 3rd degree lesion of the scapholunate ligament. The player will have to wear a brace for six weeks and then will begin his re-education.
