Olimpia Milano’s head coach Ettore Messina provided an update on injuries during an interview with Sky Sport 24 ahead of the team’s EuroLeague Round 2 matchup against Paris Basketball.
Messina confirmed that Josh Nebo will be sidelined for at least three weeks, with the medical staff set to reassess his condition in two weeks. However, the focus is on Leandro Bolmaro, who suffered an ankle sprain during the first quarter against Dinamo Sassari.
“Bolmaro sustained a fairly serious sprain, and we will evaluate his condition over the next few hours, but it’s unlikely he will be available on Friday,” Messina stated.
Despite the uncertainty, the team is relieved that Bolmaro’s injury is not expected to result in a long-term absence.
