Oklahoma City Thunder set NBA record for scoring differential in a season

Oklahoma City finished with a +12.9 average margin, the best in league history, surpassing the 1971-72 Lakers

The Oklahoma City Thunder capped a dominant 68-14 season by breaking the NBA all-time record for point differential at +12.9 per game.

The previous best, +12.3, belonged to the 1971-72 Lakers. “We’re grateful and still hungry,” said coach Mark Daigneault. OKC also tied the sixth-best record ever and will open the playoffs on April 20 at home.
