Official trade: Ziaire Williams to Brooklyn Nets, Memphis Grizzlies clear salary cap space

Official trade between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Brooklyn Nets: trade Ziaire Williams, target re-signing Luke Kennard.

Another NBA market trade: The Memphis Grizzlies have sent Ziaire Williams, a top-10 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, to the Brooklyn Nets. This was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Brooklyn also gets a second pick in the 2030 draft via Dallas, while the Grizzlies get Mamadi Diakite and the rights to Serbian Nemanja Dangubic.

The Grizzlies save $6.1 million in salary cap space and will look to re-sign guard Luke Kennard.
