Oded Kattash: I think everyone saw what happened in the second half

Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Oded Kattash talked after the defeat in game-5 vs Panathinaikos

Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Oded Kattash talked after the defeat in game-5 vs Panathinaikos: «I am really proud of the players. For me, this group of guys is real champions. Coming to this game, we knew it was not going to be easy, but there were some things behind basketball. I wish this series would be better decided by the players and basketball».

ON THE REFEREES

«We never talked about the referees throughout the series, even our opponent did, but maybe we should. No way in Game 5, in a very physical game by both sides, if I take out the last four shots of Lorenzo Brownm it was 35-6 in free throws. Maybe that’s a coincidence, but that’s a crazy number.

We, as a club showed more respect to basketball and to the EuroLeague throughout the series than some of the people that were on the court tonight».

ON EUROLEAGUE TV

«We knew we needed to be up by 15 to win by 1 point. I think everyone saw what happened in the second half».
