Nuggets to fire coach Michael Malone and GM Calvin Booth

According to Shams Charania, the Denver Nuggets this afternoon decided to fire coach Michael Malone and GM Calvin Booth.

Malone led the franchise to the first NBA title in its history in the 2022/23 season.

On the team’s bench since 2015, Malone leaves the team in 4th place in the West with 47 wins in 79 games.

David Aldeman, first assistant, will lead the team in the latter part of the season as interim coach.
