Nikola Jokic was shoved by Suns superstar Kevin Durant in another tense sideline dispute Tuesday night.
Durant was punished for a technical foul after pushing Jokic out of the way as the two-time MVP tried to enter an impromptu huddle among Phoenix players and coaches during Denver’s 118-102 triumph in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals.
“It wasn’t anything serious,” Durant added. “They were thrilled. We tried to draw them huge. As usual. “It wasn’t nothing.”
Bruce Brown and Jokic entered the Suns’ huddle with 37.6 seconds left in the third quarter and Denver leading by 20 points. Devin Booker was shooting free throws.
