Monaco star Mike James is earning praise from even the NBA’s elite players, with reigning NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic calling him a “ruthless scorer” in an interview with Jordan Richard of “Swish Cultures” in which he praised the Monaco guard for his upcoming scoring record in the EuroLeague.
Indeed, James is on the verge of making history: he needs just 12 points to pass Vassilis Spanoulis, the current all-time leading scorer in the EuroLeague with 4455 points. Mike James is averaging 19.3 points per game this season.
Jokic’s words about Mike James: “It’s definitely hard to beat that record, Spanoulis is legendary. Monaco was in the Final Four last year and Mike does a great job leading that team. He’s a ruthless scorer”.
