New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson set for return after month-long injury absence

The Knicks captain resumed practice and could play this weekend vs. Atlanta or Phoenix

Jalen Brunson is back in practice and expected to return to the Knicks’ lineup either Saturday vs. the Hawks or Sunday vs. the Suns, after a month out with an ankle sprain. He was joined by Miles McBride and Cam Payne, who also returned from injuries.

Coach Tom Thibodeau will decide based on player recovery and the back-to-back schedule. Brunson needs four more games to qualify for postseason awards, including a potential All-NBA selection.
