The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Karlo Matkovic to a three-year, $4.9 million contract.

The Croatian centre, class of 2001, committed to the Las Vegas Summer League, started last season with Cedevita producing 14.8 points on average in the EuroCup with 6.4 rebounds. He then collected 10 appearances in the G League with 17.3 points and 7.9 rebounds with Birmingham.
