Nets to apply for $5.7M disabled player exception

The Nets will request a $5.7 million disabled player exception following Spencer Dinwiddie’s season ending injury.

The Nets could used the exception to acquire a player on an expiring contract. Brooklyn, however, would have to clear a roster spot.
