Nets, Knicks, Heat reportedly Donovan Mitchell's 3 preferred destinations in case of trade

The Jazz want a substantial number of unprotected first-round picks to trade the three-time All-Star.

According to Tony Jones of The Athletic, Nets, Knicks and Heat are said to be Donovan Mitchell’s 3 preferred destinations in case of a trade.

The reporter explains that the Jazz front office has several attractive offers on the table.

The player as of now has not officially requested a trade. Among the 3 franchises listed, all from the Eastern Conference, only the Knicks seem to have the assets needed to meet the Jazz’s demands.

Utah’s position does not change. The team wants a substantial number of unprotected first-round picks to trade the 3-time All-Star.

At this point probably an official trade request from the player is the only event that could prompt the Front Office to speed up negotiations.
