The Brooklyn Nets will have to play without Kevin Durant for some time, as the forward has been diagnosed with an isolated MCL sprain of the right knee. His condition will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, there is optimism in the team’s front office that Durant will miss less time than he did last season, when he was forced to sit out six weeks due to a similar injury.
During that time the team lost 16 of 21 games, including 11 in a row.
