Nets aiming to sign James Harden, Kyrie Irving to contract extensions before training camp

Brooklyn wants to commit long-term to its Big 3.

Brooklyn Nets GM Sean Marks said to reporters that they are talking to Kyrie Irving and James Harden about contract extensions, as reported by ESPN’s Malika Andrews.

Marks is “confident” by the time training camp starts, Brooklyn’s ‘Big 3’ will be under contract with the Nets long-term.

Durant already signed his extension, with Harden that could be signed to a maximum extension of 3-years, $161M (starting in 2023-24). Irving, instead, could sign up to 4-year, $186.6M (starting in 2022-23).
