NBPA approves NBA's 22-team return-to-play plan

All player representatives in the call unanimously approved the plan.

The NBPA’s player representatives have approved the NBA’s 22-team return-to-play format. All 28 player representatives on the conference call approved the plan.

Michele Roberts and Chris Paul had been in frequent contact with Adam Silver during the suspension of the season to discuss return-to-play scenarios, which made approving the plan a relatively seamless process.

Both league and players association will work through a number of necessary details over the next week to handle amendments to the CBA, but both sides are ready for play to resume on July 31st.
