The NBA has informed the Board of Governors that the 20-21 season won’t begin until Christmas Day at the earliest, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic.
November 18 Draft date, 20-21 start date remain fluid, writes Charania. When the NBA locked out the players in 2011, the season began on Christmas Day.
