The New Orleans Pelicans are openly discussing star Jrue Holiday in trade talks, Shams Charania reports.
The reporter adds that several contending teams are interested.
The 30-year-old guard out of UCLA will earn around 25 million next season, and has a player option of about 26 million for 2021/22.
Holiday is one of the most versatile two-way guards in the league, able to play as a first offensive option, but also to run the team. On defense he is willing to defend the most dangerous opponent, regardless of role.
It is therefore not surprising the considerable interest in him.
Last season with the Pelicans Holiday averaged 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks per game.
